Conference visitors can join SMART in booth #2400 for interactive presentations, hands on experiences and live demonstrations of industry-leading technology including SMART BoardÒ interactive displays, SMART Learning Suite (SLS) software and SMART professional learning services.

Throughout the conference at SMART booth #2400, representatives, teachers and students from the School District of Philadelphia will present lesson content, strategies and success stories with SMART solutions. A session on Monday, June 24 at 3 pm on Building Capacity will be delivered by Michelle Harris, Director of Education Technology and Luke Bilger, Senior Project Manager for the School District of Philadelphia. Throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, students from the school district will also present their perspectives on digital strategies for engaging lessons.
Hear from students solving education challenges
During the live ISTE session in room 105AB on Sunday, June 23, meet and hear from the student finalists who competed in a global “Transform Education Through Technology” challenge hosted by the Conrad Foundation. Winning the global challenge out of 66 teams from 14 countries, Team Speakeasy will show ISTE visitors how they used design thinking throughout the year-long project to create a VR app to solve public speaking afflictions. Participants will also hear from Conrad Foundation founder and lifelong teacher, Nancy Conrad, on the “no-box” thinking methodology for classroom learning.
